Plantation Drive: let’s plant 30k trees

We here at Tarumitra always develop new programs and campaigns committed to reviving the environment and spreading awareness. Plantation drive is the next step because it’s that time of the year when you sing “Sawan ka mahina pawan kare shor”. We are ready to follow the wind and plant something which grows out a rind.

Why Afforestation ??

Well why not, this is not a moot point of discussion that there are plenty of advantages of afforestation. It aids in tackling global warming, threats to climate change, and pollution. Also –

  • Prevents soil erosion, gives better quality air, and improves watershed.
  • Preservation of wildlife, the maintenance of biodiversity, and ecological balances
  • Employment and economic opportunities.

So This monsoon season we are ready to plant trees and contribute to broadening the green cover around our state Bihar. We plan to envelop as much area as possible to reinforce lush greenery in our state. For this season, we wish to plant at least 30,000 trees in the state.

This is open to all residents of Bihar and anyone interested in decking their land with trees and replenishing nature as well as restoring it. This Plantation drive should be a great opportunity for all such people. Plantation starts from a minimum of just 100 trees. Interested individuals, families, and communities can utilize this opportunity to get free plantation done and also receive maintenance for the next 2 years.

Tarumitra proposes to plant a variety of trees from native fruit trees to trees with medicinal and commercial value, and also flowering trees. It also has provision for tree guard installation to keep planted trees safe from animals.

Our team is very excited and full of enthusiasm to make this plantation drive not only successful but also to sow a seed that fills the environment with new energy.
